Banana Split Dessert
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 2 sleeves)
- ½ cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 8 oz. block of cream cheese, softened
- 16 oz. Cool Whip thawed or similar whipped topping
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla
- 1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple in juice, drained
- 4 bananas sliced into ¼ inch coins
- Chopped toasted walnuts for topping
Preparation
- Prepare 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray
- Stir graham cracker crumbs and melted butter together
- Spread crumbs evenly in bottom of pan and press down to form crust
- Place in refrigerator
- Add half of Cool Whip to cream cheese and beat until combined
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until fluffy
- Remove pan from fridge and spread mixture evenly on crust
- Layer bananas on top and pressing gently to remain in place
- Spread crushed pineapple on top of banana slices
- Spread remaining half of Cool Whip over pineapple layer. Cover and chill for a minimum of 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
