Ingredients
- 1½-2 lb. salmon filet
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp. honey
- Zest from one lemon
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 Blood orange, sliced thin
- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
- Chopped fresh herbs, basil, thyme oregano
- Salt
Preparation
- Preheat broiler to high
- Set rack 6-8 inches below broiler
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper
- Place Salmon on paper
- Mix garlic, honey, lemon zest, olive oil, salt and pepper
- Rub mixture over salmon, place blood orange slices on top
- Broil salmon for 6-8 minutes until salmon is easy to flake with fork
- Drizzle with herb butter
- Mix citrus salsa ingredients and serve with salmon
- Rice and vegetable are good sides with this dish
