Neiman Marcus Cake Dupe
Ingredients
- 1 (15.25) box of yellow cake mix
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Grease 13x9 baking pan
- In large bowl, combine yellow cake mix with 2 eggs, butter and vanilla
- Mix well, the batter will be stiff
- Spread batter evenly in prepared pan
- In separate bowl add powdered sugar, cream cheese and 2 eggs
- Mix well and pour over top of cake batter
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, until toothpick placed in center comes out clean
- Let cake cool completely, at least a few hours before serving
