Swiss Cheese Spread
Ingredients
- 2 cups freshly shredded Swiss, Jarlsberg or Gruyere Cheese
- ¼ - ½ cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
- 2 tbsp. milk
- ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
- Juice from ½ lemon
- ¼ cup freshly chopped parsley
- ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- Chopped fresh chives for garnish
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in bowl (reserve chives) and mix until combined
- Cover and refrigerate for minimum of 2 hours or preferably overnight
- Adjust seasonings before serving and garnish with chives
