Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Grease 9x9 square baking pan.
3. Whisk egg in medium bowl. Add cookie mix, then melted butter. Set aside cinnamon sugar packet.
4. Mix until dough is formed. Remove ¾ cup of dough and set aside.
5. Press remaining dough evenly into bottom of baking pan.
6. Sprinkle dough with 1/3 of cinnamon sugar packet.
7. Spread apple pie filling over dough in baking pan.
8. Sprinkle apples with 1/3 of cinnamon sugar packet.
9. Break up remaining dough into small chunks and drop over apple pie filling, and then sprinkle with chopped walnuts and remaining 1/3 of cinnamon sugar packet. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
10. Cool before serving.
