Rita’s Club Cracker Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 stick margarine
- 2/3 cup sugar (less 2 tblsp.)
- 1 box club crackers
- ½ cup sliced almonds
- ½ cup chopped pecans
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Line 2 baking sheets with nonstick foil.
- Place crackers close together on baking sheets, lining surface completely.
- In small saucepan melt butter and margarine, add sugar and bring to a boil stirring continuously for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and pour mixture evenly over all crackers.
- Sprinkle with nuts.
- Bake for 9 minutes.
- When crackers are cool to the touch separate cookies to cool completely.
